A simple portfolio tip for New/Emerging Artists.

Every time you add a piece to your portfolio, ask yourself: Do I want to be hired to do more of this type of art?

If the answer is no, do not include that piece.

For example, if you don't want to do crowd scenes, don't include examples of crowds. If you don't want to paint horses, don't include samples of horses. If you don't want to do children's illustration, don't include samples of it, and so on.
