Welcome to our Art Studio and Shop. We are a small, family-owned art business located in the sunshine and delightful weirdness of Austin, Texas.

Our studio focuses on the whimsical fantasy art created by the award-winning Danish artist Kiri Leonard. We sell both original art and art prints, and create a myriad of products. We ship worldwide with a few exceptions.

Our goal is to bring joy, enchantment, and a dash of wonder to your life through art and storytelling.

We appreciate the little moments, slow living, and getting lost in imagination.

Our Artist

Hi, I’m Kiri. It’s a pleasure to meet you, I’m a fantasy artist, storyteller, and creator from Denmark, the oldest Kingdom in Europe.

I started Valkiri in 2011, when I set out to become a full-time artist.

I find inspiration in folklore, history, philosophy, nature, and life around us which I concoct into vivid imagery. I studied art at Pratt Institute in New York City.

I am particularly passionate about illustrating and writing my own two flagship stories, Montague Mouse and Locke the Legend.

I draw and paint because art is my roots and my mother tongue. It is my calling and my purpose. I am here to share these stories in imagery and words, and I hope they will rekindle your joy for getting lost in imagination.
