Originally published by Dover Publications in 2013, Vikings of Legend and Lore Paper Dolls was my first traditionally published book.
Meet six figures from Viking history and legend: Harald Bluetooth and his wife Tove of Venden; his parents, Gorm the Sleepy and Thyra Danebod; and the legendary Ragnar Lothbrok and his shieldmaiden bride, Kraka. There's also Lyndwyrm, a norse dragon!
Each character comes with a colorful wardrobe of historically inspired clothing and accessories, along with little “Did You Know...?” sidebars about the people and legends behind the paper dolls.
The illustrations come from an earlier chapter of my artistic career, and I'm delighted to have the book available here in the Valkiri shop as a little piece of my creative history.
