Most artworks begin the old-fashioned way with pencil and paper in my sketchbook.

Coloring is done by hand either on my wacom tablet or ipad. Art prints are made with archieval inks on premium paper.

Welcome to my world of art. I’m Kiri Østergaard Leonard, a Danish-American artist and illustrator.

Art is my native tongue, and a gift from my soul to yours. I believe we could all use a little more joy, wonder and imagination in our daily lives, so I strive to create artwork that will do just that, and I hope it will brighten your day.
